Has previous school-based experience, ideally as a Cover Supervisor, Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or similar Alternatively, is a graduate with a genuine interest in developing a career in education Is confident managing a classroom and maintaining high expectations of behaviour Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills Can deliver pre-planned lessons and keep students engaged in learning Is resilient, organised and adaptable Builds positive relationships with students and staff As a Secondary Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of the usual teacher, deliver pre-prepared work and ensure students remain focused and engaged with their learning.
