Additional Information About the Role
In addition to the responsibilities detailed in the Job Description and Person Specification, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering careers IAG across Blackpool and The Fylde College's diverse student community.
This is a varied and rewarding role that requires the ability to work across all College campuses and engage confidently with a wide range of learners from Entry Level through to Level 6, including 16-18, Adult, HE students, apprentices and alumni. You will also provide IAG to vulnerable learners as part of the college’s inclusion strategy. You will be comfortable talking to students in a 1:1 setting, as well as presenting information to large groups of students, delivering engaging careers-related sessions and events that inspire learners to achieve their goals.
The role offers flexibility and variety, with occasional evening and weekend work to support College events and activities. As travel between campuses is a requirement of the role, access to a car would be advantageous.
