A leading secondary school in Epping is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join its successful Science department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who has a passion for Chemistry and enjoys inspiring students through practical experimentation, problem-solving and engaging scientific discussion.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry across KS3
and KS4
, with potential opportunities to teach at KS5 for an appropriately experienced candidate. You will be joining a well-established department with strong leadership, excellent resources and a collaborative approach to teaching.
The school is happy to receive applications from experienced Chemistry Teachers and ECTs, as well as overseas-trained teachers with an appropriate teaching qualification and QTS.

Experience and QualificationsChemistry Teacher able to teach KS3 and KS4
Strong Chemistry subject knowledge
Relevant degree and formal teaching qualification with QTS
Ability to deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons
Experience preparing students for GCSE Chemistry desirable
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
Right to work in the UK
