SEND TEACHING ASSISTANT – EYFS | LEIGH

We are currently looking for a caring, patient and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support a young child in EYFS within a mainstream primary school in Leigh
.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and wants to provide consistent, nurturing and individualised support to help a child thrive in the classroom.
The Role
You will work closely with the child on a 1:1 basis
, supporting them to access learning, develop their confidence and build positive relationships within the school environment.
The child has ADHD
, so we are looking for someone who understands that every child learns differently and can provide calm, consistent and supportive guidance throughout the school day.
Your role will include:
Supporting the child to access the EYFS curriculum
Building a trusting and positive relationship
Providing strategies to support attention, focus and engagement
