Early Years Teaching Assistant

This permanent post sits in the classroom support team at Edlington Victoria Academy, a primary school within Exceed Learning Partnership, a multi academy trust. The work centres on supporting pupils through small-group sessions and one-to-one work, alongside helping teachers with classroom administration and core literacy and numeracy activities. Hours are 27.5 a week during term time, and the role carries a specific emphasis on applying the school's behaviour strategies and on awareness of special educational needs.

The post needs an enhanced DBS check with a Children's Barred List check.

• Support pupils in small groups and one-to-one
• Help pupils with core curriculum activities such as reading and maths
