Teaching Assistant Level 2 - Rhos Helyg Primary School

Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? Ysgol Gynradd Rhos Helyg (Llangeitho site) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the team from 04/01/2027 on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom and beyond.

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• - Provide support to pupils, including those with additional needs, helping them access learning and build confidence.
• - Work with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities.
• - Support the development of Individual Education and Behaviour Plans.
• - Promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour.
• - Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and wider school activities.

We are looking for someone who:

• - Is fluent in both Welsh and English
• - Has experience of working with or caring for children.
• - Holds relevant qualifications (NVQ 3 or equivalent) and good literacy/numeracy skills.
• - Can use ICT effectively to support learning.
• - Is positive, flexible, and able to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
• - Understands the importance of safeguarding, inclusion, and teamwork.
