Reporting to the O&M Area Manager, you will be responsible for delivering scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services on Vestas wind turbines, with a preference for experience on V80 models. Your role is crucial in ensuring turbine performance, availability, and safety standards are maintained.

• Conduct scheduled maintenance following manufacturer's guidelines.
• Fault-find, troubleshoot, and repair wind turbines, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic assemblies, and major components.
• Perform proactive repairs or replacements to prevent turbine downtime.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements, including the Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR).
• Maintain high safety standards on-site.
• Participate in a weekend on-call rota for turbine fault response.
• Manage local spare parts and consumable stock.
• Communicate effectively with team members, managers, and clients for efficient operations and reporting.

• Proven experience in the wind energy industry, especially with Vestas turbines, preferably V80 models.
• Deep knowledge of wind turbine technology, maintenance, and safety regulations.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions in fast-paced environments.
• High physical fitness and ability to work in challenging conditions.
• Full UK driving license.

This role is based in the United Kingdom, Scotland - Scottish Borders, Duns.
