• We have a vacancy for a CAD Design Engineer to join our team – ideally in/around the Melsonby area.
• Use technical drawing and designs to build our traffic signals/lights.

• Creation of 3D CAD engineering designs – using Autodesk Inventor & other design tools.
• Oversee Product Life Cycle Management process in Vault.
• Produce Bills of Materials along with fabrication and assembly drawings.
• Develop, document and implement the relevant design standards.
• Assist with production packs and improve drawing pack for sales/production.

• At least 5 years of experience with modelling and draughting, and a command of Autodesk software.
• Demonstrable experience producing manufacturing information and application of manufacturing designs.
• Experience producing assembly drawings, layouts, scheme, part drawings and sheet metal fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and design constraints (material, tolerance, process, etc.) desirable.
