Senior MEP BIM Coordinator

An internationally respected multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior MEP BIM Coordinator to join its London-based team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse and technically challenging portfolio of projects across the UK and overseas.

The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in the coordination and delivery of BIM for complex MEP systems, working closely with design engineers, architects, and external stakeholders. Responsibilities will include managing BIM processes from concept through construction, ensuring compliance with BIM standards, and supporting best practice across project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead MEP BIM coordination on large-scale and complex projects

• Manage and maintain federated BIM models across multiple disciplines

• Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans, standards, and project requirements

• Coordinate clash detection and resolution processes

• Support and mentor junior BIM team members

• Liaise with internal and external project stakeholders

Project Exposure
The consultancy delivers a broad range of high-profile projects, including:

• Commercial developments

• Large-scale mixed-use schemes

• International projects, particularly across the Middle East

• Infrastructure and complex building services projects

Requirements

• Proven experience as an MEP BIM Coordinator or Senior BIM Coordinator

• Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and BIM workflows

• High proficiency in industry-standard BIM software and coordination tools

• Experience working on large, multidisciplinary projects

• Strong communication and coordination skills

• Full eligibility to work in the UK is essential
