About the Role

We are recruiting for a fast‑paced multi‑site manufacturer and are looking for an Electrical/Mechanical biased, multi‑skilled day‑shift engineer who is a great problem solver with continuous improvement ideas. The engineer will thrive in a proactive electrical‑bias front‑line maintenance role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, adjust and repair process and production machinery and equipment using the necessary tools in a safe and proper manner.
  • Examine machinery and equipment, report on condition and performance, and plan improvements.
  • Carry out planned and preventative maintenance to agreed schedules.
  • Provide potential overtime support and flexibility when needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or equivalent, preferably with a manufacturing background.
  • A competent electrical engineering professional with technical experience, able to solve problems, and preferably with PLC / automation experience to produce safe systems of work.
  • Experience in contributing to the development, manufacture, commissioning, decommissioning, operation or maintenance of products, equipment, processes or services.
  • Hands‑on maintenance experience with conveyors and processing equipment; machine tool maintenance background preferred.
  • Extensive experience in planned maintenance tasks and organisational skills for the engineering plant.
