About the Role
As a Junior Engineering Geologist based in Birmingham, you'll support ground investigation assignments that help predict, expose and mitigate geological risk ahead of design and construction. You'll work alongside experienced drilling teams and geotechnical engineers on Phase 1 desktop studies, logging, trial pitting, boreholes, laboratory testing and factual reporting. This role offers exposure to a wide variety of ground conditions and techniques used across rail and infrastructure projects.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Geotechnics or related discipline

• Preferably, experience in the Engineering Geology field

• Live in or near to Birmingham

• Full UK driving licence

• Full right to work in the UK
