Service Engineer – Plant Machinery (Workshop + Field)

Competitive (DOE) + Company Van + Overtime (as required) + Tools Support
Location:
Northampton (yard‑based with local field work)
Industry: Construction Plant / Heavy Equipment / Used Plant
OverviewA busy, growing plant machinery business based in Northampton is looking to add an additional Service Engineer due to increased workload. The business works across a mixed range of new and used plant machinery and needs someone practical, hands‑on and comfortable with variety.
The RoleThis is a hands‑on role supporting both the workshop and on‑site work. The current split is roughly 70 % workshop / 30 % field, but the field element is expected to grow over time as service demand increases. You’ll be involved in machine prep, PDI, servicing, repairs and breakdown support across a varied fleet.
