Are you a Rail Civils Design Engineer, looking for an employer where you can see your career grow?

The Company

You will be joining a well-established organisation that has their own in-house design function, supporting a close-knit team that operates as an internal consultancy supporting a broad portfolio of rail infrastructure projects across the UK.

The Role

• You will be supporting a variety of high-profile rail projects and frameworks across the UK, carrying out civil engineering design (Rail Depots, Stations, Ancillary, Lineside, Bridges, Platforms etc) to support rail systems delivery.
• You will undertake structural design calculations and assessments
• Act as a hands-on design engineer, contributing directly to technical output rather than purely managing
• Ensure designs consider constructability, buildability, and practical site constraints

About You

• Proven experience in civil design within the rail sector

• Experience in fulfilling the role of Contractor s Responsible Engineer or ability to fulfil the role in the future an advantage.

• Strong background in Rail civils, Structural and/or Construction design
• Good understanding of constructability and site delivery constraints
• Experience undertaking or supporting site surveys

Renumeration

• Salary up to £55,000 per annum
• 25 days holiday + BH
• Matched pension scheme up to 5%
