This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role within a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering team. You will help design and deliver specialist digital image acquisition products used globally across multiple sectors. You will be involved from concept through to production, helping to bring high‑performance, reliable products to market. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled and diverse development team creating specialist digital image acquisition technologies that impact clients worldwide.

• Design mechanical components and assemblies using Solid Works
• Produce and maintain drawings, BOMs, and production documentation
• Manage 3D libraries for mechanical and PCB design systems
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation
• Collaborate with electronics, production, and quality teams
• Troubleshoot production and field issues
• Ensure compliance with standards and safety regulations
• Support suppliers and manufacturing partners
• Lead migration from Solid Edge to Solid Works

Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)5+ years’ experience designing electro‑mechanical products
• Advanced Solid Works proficiency
• Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
• Experience with engineering documentation and BOMs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

This role is subject to Security Clearance (SC) Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain SC clearance.

• Experience in computer vision or camera systems
• Exposure to PCB design collaboration (e.g., Altium)
• Regulated industry experience (medical, defence, aerospace)
• Thermal or stress modelling knowledge
• Experience taking products from concept to production
• MRP/BOM version control experience
