**** Overview
* * The VIE in Digital Engineering plays an active role in delivering and scaling digital solutions across manufacturing plants internationally. This position combines technical execution with project ownership and stakeholder engagement.
** Typical Work / Projects
*** Lead deployment of digital applications (e.g., performance dashboards, MES modules) across sites
* Drive standardisation of data models and KPIs across multiple plants
* Coordinate integration between shopfloor systems (PLC/SCADA) and central platforms
* Support implementation of advanced use cases (e.g., predictive maintenance, AI-based analytics)
* Act as a bridge between local plant teams and central digital engineering
** Roles & Responsibilities
*** Own specific digital work streams or deployment projects
* Engage with plant stakeholders to understand needs and translate into solutions
* Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across systems
* Monitor performance of deployed solutions and drive continuous improvement
* Provide training and support to end users in plants
