Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary

We support water utility companies by improving sewage sites across the United Kingdom. We are looking for an experienced/qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our Hydro International UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team.

• Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage sites.
• Carry out site inspections and fault finding, and compile survey reports for quotation purposes.
• Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic equipment.
• Work at heights, in confined spaces and outside on sites connected with Wastewater (sewage).
• Work away from home on a regular basis, requiring overnight stays.
• Work in workshops across the country on occasion.
• Work as a team with other staff and trades within the business.

• Current valid driving licence.
• City & Guilds qualified.
• Served a recognised mechanical apprenticeship.
