About The Role
EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.
We are looking to recruit a Site Engineer with experience in Drainage to join our team based at Greatworth.
The Site Engineer is responsible on site for other junior engineers and assists in the construction operations in the Southam area.
You will liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to carry out works activities to the required standards, programme and budget.
You will work with the setting‑out team, be responsible for the performance and development of the junior engineers, and identify and resolve technical problems on site in liaison with the senior team and Sub‑Agent.
Monitoring and coordinating subcontractors to ensure that their work meets contractual requirements.
Ensuring that the team has all current information and resources required to carry out their duties, and assisting with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans and contributing to financial forecasting.

- HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent and working towards institute membership (ICE).
- You must hold a CSCS
- White, White‑Yellow, Red‑Experienced, Black‑Manager or Gold‑Supervisor. - Previous highways experience is preferred.
- Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities combined with construction supervision skills.
- Experience in drainage is essential for this role.
- You must hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
