B1.Licensed Aircraft Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with applicable aviation regulations (FAA/EASA/CAA as applicable).
• Perform both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance whilst always prioritising safety and regulatory compliance.
• Review and certify work packs, logbooks, and technical records.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts replaced, and hours spent on each aircraft.
• Perform inspections of facility, tooling, equipment to ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Provide mentoring to junior colleagues.

• UK CAA Part-66 B1.2 license (or very close to completion).
• 3 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or hangar operations.
• Strong knowledge of piston-engine aircraft (e.g., Piper, Cessna, Robin, Slingsby). Previous experience working on Diamond aircraft (DA40/DA42) desirable.
• You must be an excellent team player and communicator.
• You must possess excellent attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
• Valid UK/EU driving license.

Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm with occasional opportunities for overtime.
