Where will you be working? We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. Were problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our MEICA and capital maintenance team.

Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services. Want to be a part of it? What will you be doing? You will be responsible for maintaining various water assets, including: CSO Valves Penstocks Hydraulic Power Units Isolation Gates Inspection of chambers and valve equipment Inspection of fixed equipment What you'll bring Due to the nature of the role we'll need you to have proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role showing strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.

Youll have demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols and have great effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. We'll also need you to have problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on delivering efficient and effective solutions. Whats essential? Do you have previous mechanical experience?

Are you trained or qualified as an apprentice, or to an equivalent NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering? Have you gained successful completion of ONC/HNC in Engineering, NVQ, or C&G Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering? Do you have excellent attention to detail? Are you someone who has a strong focus on safety and quality, with a collaborative teamwork approach? Do you hold a valid UK driving licence?
