Location: City
Estimator - Water Capital Projects
Freelance - £450‑£500 per shift. Minimum five‑year secured framework.
SummaryAn exciting opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering a long‑term programme of water infrastructure works across Wales.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate estimates and tender submissions for civil engineering and water infrastructure projects.
- Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
- Price reinforced concrete structures, pipelines, earthworks and associated civils packages.
- Liaise with operational, engineering and commercial teams throughout the tender process.
- Identify project risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions.
- Previous estimating experience within the UK water sector.
- Strong background in civil engineering capital projects.
- Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills.
- NEC contract knowledge is advantageous.
- £450‑£500 per shift.
- Minimum five‑year secured programme of work.
- Long‑term freelance opportunity with an established infrastructure contractor.
