Are you an experienced CNC Programmer, Applications Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer looking for a varied, customer-facing role where you'll work with advanced machining technology and support customers across the UK and Ireland?

On offer is an exciting opportunity to join a globally recognised engineering business where you'll receive specialist training, work with cutting-edge CNC machinery, and play a key role in supporting customers while developing your technical expertise.

This company is looking to expand its engineering team with a skilled Application Engineer who can provide technical support, optimise machining processes, and work alongside the sales team to deliver outstanding customer solutions.

The day-to-day of this role includes supporting customer installations, programming and optimising CNC machines, designing fixtures, machining sample parts, providing on-site technical support and training, and collaborating with the sales team on customer demonstrations and projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC programming and machining, be proficient with Siemens or Heidenhain controls, and have experience using CAM software such as Hypermill.

The role:
Application Engineer
Field-based role covering the UK & Ireland
Supporting customer installations, programming and technical support
Working closely with sales teams, fixture design and machining
customer site travel

The person:
CNC Programmer, Applications Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer

Experience with Siemens and/or Heidenhain control systems
Knowledge of CAM software (Hypermill or similar)
Happy to travel across the UK & Ireland
