In this role, the successful CAD Designer/Detailer or similar will be responsible for producing technical Structural Steelwork drawings. In addition, you will also be responsible for preparing fabrication and general arrangement drawings, alongside liaison with both design teams, clients and fabricators alike. On top of this, you will also be responsible for coordinating drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle. Finally, you will be responsible for ensuring drawings comply with project specifications and company standards, alongside keeping accurate technical documentation of any projects worked.

The ideal CAD Designer/Detailer or similar will come from a background within the Structural Steelwork/Metalwork/Fabrication sector or a related field. In addition, you will also have had prior working experience in a Designer/Detailer position. On top of this, you will have a proficiency within AutoCAD software. Finally, you will also have strong organisational, communicational and analytical skills, with the ability to work well both as part of a team and autonomously.

The Role:

• Producing technical Structural Steelwork drawings
• Liaison with both design teams, clients and fabricators alike
• Ensuring drawings comply with project specifications and company standards

The Person:

• Prior working experience in a Designer/Detailer position
• Background within the Structural Steelwork/Metalwork/Fabrication sector or a related field
• Proficiency within AutoCAD software
