Coordinating Authorised Person; Wales

Join QinetiQ as a Coordinating Authorised Person covering Pendine, Aberporth, and Malvern.

As a Coordinating Authorised Person you will support senior and site authorised persons, estates delivery teams and JSP safe systems of work delivery, compliance and assurance across a regional area. You will provide technical support, guidance and mentorship as a subject matter expert for various JSP
375 Ch 5 disciplines, embed operational Safe System of Work improvement programmes, and ensure consistency and best practice across operations.

• Oversee and provide guidance to site Authorised Persons in planning activities for the specialist discipline and area
• Co‑ordinate statutory compliance for JSP 375 SSoW delivery across regional sites through regular contact with site authorised persons
• Monitor and review performance, track trends, and escalating any issues or obstacles to the Senior Authorised Person with respect to JSP compliance
• Ensure robust application of health, safety & environmental regulations, procedures and processes to authorisation work activities
• Prioritise work appropriately and issue issues to site Estates Delivery teams to maintain asset safety and compliance

• Demonstrable experience in a similar role
• Previous authorisation person experience working in a regulated industry
• Proven track record in health, safety and compliance

• Current AP Certificate in one or more JSP disciplines (e.g., Hazardous Areas, Mechanical Systems, Confined Spaces, Petroleum, HV/LV Electrical)
• IOSH / NEBOSH qualification
• Full clean driving licence

This role is 37 hours per week based at one of our Pendine, Aberporth or Malvern sites. Travel to other QinetiQ and customer sites will be expected.
