Asbestos Consultant

Role Overview

Our Asbestos Consultants carry out asbestos consultancy and surveying activities at client sites across the UK. The role provides expert advice on asbestos risks, ensuring clients meet legal, safety, and compliance standards. It also supports high‑quality reporting, adherence to internal procedures, and continuous professional development.

• Provide expert advice on asbestos risks and ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
• Conduct asbestos surveys, safely sample suspect materials, and accurately record findings.
• Assess identified asbestos risks and advise clients on appropriate removal or safe management.
• Support quality assurance activities, including audits and corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with clients and project teams to ensure effective communication and timely reporting.

• Certification or qualification in asbestos surveying (e.g., BOHS P402).
• Proven experience as an Asbestos Surveyor within a similar role or environment.
• Strong knowledge of asbestos‑related legislation, regulations, and guidelines.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate record‑keeping of survey findings.
• Proficient computer skills with survey software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• A valid driving licence for use in the UK and willingness to travel to various sites.

Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm
