The RoleWe are currently looking for a Site Engineer to join the SWMEW Project. This is a facility to provide interim storage of SIXEP and SCP secondary waste, with the capability to feed a future waste product management treatment plant (WPMTP). - Support the project in delivering a high standard of environmental and waste management, including by conducting weekly site inspections.
- Coordinate design responses to minimise delays in construction while maintaining safety and compliance.
- Have an awareness of all Plant Modifications Proposals (PMP) and their impact upon construction activities.
- Provide structured feedback to the design teams for design improvements, lessons learned (LFE) and future project optimisation.
- An Engineering qualification (for example BEng, BSc, HND, HNC).
- Experience of working in live construction environments with good understanding of applicable Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations.
- Understanding and experience of relevant legislation, standards, and procedures relevant to highly regulated industry.
