Job Title
Maintenance Engineer - Electrical & Mechanical
SalarySalary depending upon experience.
Working HoursMonday to Friday, 2.00pm - 11.30pm, with overtime available at weekends.
Job PurposeThe key purpose of this role is to work autonomously, and as part of a small team, to undertake Planned Preventative Maintenance and repairs of our glass processing machines, located in WITHAM, CB8.
Duties and Responsibilities- Providing front line maintenance support to the shift operations team
- Keep machinery working to the designed output efficiency
- Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical fault finding
- Assist in dismantling and re‑assembling all production equipment
- Regular PPM and scheduled maintenance and improvement works
As the ideal candidate, you will have previously worked within a fast‑paced production environment and possess the following skills and experience:
- Must be a multi‑skilled maintenance engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)
- Track record of electrical fault finding & ideally knowledge of PLC's
- Worked on machinery within a Manufacturing environment
- Self‑motivated and able to work in a team
- You will ideally hold a recognised Electrical Engineering qualification, such as:
Level 3 Diploma / NVQ3 / HNC / 18th Edition maintenance engineering / City & Guilds 2382 - Knowledge and experience of PLC an advantage
You will also require a flexible approach to your working hours to help meet Operational demand and support the needs of the business.
