Project Manager, Operations Management, Water Management

Our client, a leader in civil engineering and infrastructure, is currently seeking a Project Manager specialising in the water sector for a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce financial forecasts, monitor and control project costs, and produce monthly reports on project performance
• Deliver projects from the design phase to completion, including all handover documentation
• Review progress, budget, resources, and planning
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, framework suppliers, and design consultants
• Develop and maintain construction programmes
• Co-ordinate and manage site investigations during ongoing construction
• Develop engineering solutions that meet client requirements
• Ensure production and implementation of Project Plans, risk assessments, and method statements
• Prepare comprehensive estimates for additional work outside target costs
• Set high standards of leadership in promoting HS&E procedures and best practices

Job Requirements:

• Working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme & Risk Management, and cost control
• Experience in the water / utilities sector would be preferred
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or equivalent software
• Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
• CSCS manager's card, SMSTS, NEBOSH Construction Certificate
• Knowledge of the NEC contracts
• Excellent communication, team management, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in managing and delivering successful projects
