Australia’s Defence Future

Australia is entering a significant period of investment in defence capability and infrastructure. The 2024 National Defence Strategy and Integrated Investment Program set out a long-term program to strengthen the Australian Defence Force and build the capabilities required to respond to an evolving strategic environment.

The AUKUS partnership, alongside Australia’s growing focus on nuclear-powered submarine capability and broader sovereign defence capability, is creating exciting opportunities for professionals with experience across defence, nuclear and major infrastructure programs.

We are particularly interested in candidates with:

• Defence or nuclear experience – Experience working within the Nuclear Defence sector, highly regulated environments with NSQEP experience highly regarded.
• Technical expertise – Strong technical capability within your discipline and experience delivering complex projects to high standards.
• Major project experience – Experience working on large-scale, multidisciplinary or highly regulated infrastructure programs.
• Leadership and collaboration – The ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams, clients and industry partners.
