Customer Water Quality Officer

With 2.6 billion litres delivered daily and over 500,000 water quality tests each year, your work will directly protect the safety of our drinking water and the communities we serve. • Collecting samples from treatment works, reservoirs and customer homes. You will have access to the equipment for testing in your van such as and bottles, thermometers.
• Overseeing the management of your sampling records and maintenance of sampling equipment, ensuring they’re kept to industry standards.
• Liaising with the technical scheduling team, CSWQ group, and regulatory and performance team to plan your workload and deliver the monitoring programme.
• Assisting with investigating supply issues or customer complaints if they arise.

– need to travel across Thames Valley Region.

• A full UK, clean driving license with a willingness to plan your routes, drive long distances, and comfortable driving a large commercial van in busy environments and remote rural locations.
• Excellent customer service skills for visiting customers’ homes and cold calling properties.
• Excellent attention to detail for recording samples on a daily basis.
• Strong organizational skills and can work independently.
• An existing knowledge of the water industry, if not a willingness to learn the water industry and its processes.
• Good computer literacy.

• Hourly Pay rate: £14.80.

  - Flexible between Burford, Carterton, Bampton, Oxford and Swindon.
• Expenses:
  Excluded.
• Length of assignment: 26 weeks.

  38 hours per week Monday
  - Friday.
