Maintenance Engineer
Kidderminster | £44,387.76 | Monday to Friday Rotating Shifts 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's established manufacturing operation in Kidderminster. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer looking for a varied role focused on fault finding, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
Key Engineering Responsibilities- Respond to machine breakdowns and equipment failures
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and TPM activities
- Fault-find on PLC-controlled machinery, drives and conveyor systems
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS system
- Support machinery efficiency improvements and minimise downtime
- Participate in occasional on-call and overtime requirements
- Time-served Electrical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Electrically qualified with relevant certificates
- Experience with in manufacturing, production or process environments
- Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of PLCs, AC/DC drives and three-phase systems
- Able to read electrical and pneumatic circuit diagrams
