Location:

Coulport, near Helensburgh (Scotland - 20 minutes north of Helensburgh). Working pattern:
Monday – Thursday (core hours).

To deliver Manufacturing Engineering in support of AWE Programmes; will apply Engineering methods, tools and processes to engineering tasks. Deliver engineering solutions that will maximise productivity, reliability, innovation and quality to the business.

• Deliver engineering solutions that meet safety and performance requirements
• Comply with the design intent across the full engineering lifecycle
• Plan and execute tasks in order to deliver agreed objectives to time, requirements, quality and cost
• Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality
• Additional accountabilities for this job profile may be defined and appointed through the Chief Engineer Management Arrangements, with appointees contained within the Company Design Authorities and Technical Authorities listing, as held in the company management system

• Compliance with Licence Conditions/ Authorisation Conditions, legislation and regulations
• ONC/HNC/HND/NVQ3/NVQ4 level in a STEM vocational qualification supported by considerable practical experience.
• Proven track record of technical delivery and continuous improvement
• Technical awareness of product/domain
• Following Company processes and ensuring Management System is kept up to date.

• You will need to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role. This will be funded by AWE.
• The nature of our work does mean you need to be a British Citizen who has been resident in the UK for the past 5 years in order to apply for SC clearance and 10 years for DV.
