Front End Game Developer

The Role

This is a hands‑on, creative and technically engaging role, ideal for a developer with some experience in building HTML5 games or interactive content using PixiJS and/or Phaser.js
, that is looking to grow their skills within the iGaming industry.

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality HTML5 slot and casino games using PixiJS and/or Phaser.js
  .
• Enhance and evolve our award‑winning game framework with new features, animations and gameplay mechanics.
• Maintain and troubleshoot a diverse portfolio of live and recently launched games, including 3 Apex Treasures and Goldstar Express, alongside award‑winning titles such as Branded Megaways (EGR Game of the Year).
• Collaborate closely with Designers
  , Artists and Mathematicians to deliver engaging, polished and player‑focused experiences.
• Follow best practices for version control (Git/Bitbucket), testing and code documentation.
• Collaborate in an Agile development environment and contribute ideas during design and sprint planning sessions.
• Guarantee compliance with industry standards and technical certification requirements.
• Support the delivery of multiple game variants and configurations to meet partner and market requirements.

• Some professional experience in the iGaming industry or HTML5 game development, with exposure to slot games preferred (experience with table or instant win games is a plus).
• Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 for building responsive game interfaces.
• Familiarity with Git version control and collaboration platforms (Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence).
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams (Design, Art, Mathematics) to deliver engaging game experiences.
• Good attention to detail, with an interest in animation flow and visual polish.
• Excellent debugging, optimisation and problem‑solving skills.
• Interest in casino gaming and an awareness of the challenges within regulated markets.
• Experience with PixiJS and/or Phaser.js

• A degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
