Entertainer

Role Description

The Entertainer role is a contract, on‑site position based at Bluestone National Park Resort in Narberth. Entertainers support the guest experience by delivering live shows, hosting activities, and leading interactive events for families, couples, and groups. Day‑to‑day tasks may include performing in scheduled entertainment programs, facilitating games and themed sessions, engaging guests around the resort, and working collaboratively with other team members to create memorable experiences.

The role involves preparing performance materials, ensuring safety and inclusivity during activities, and adapting entertainment to different age groups and audience sizes. Entertainers are expected to maintain high energy, professionalism, and guest service standards while working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Strong performance skills, including acting, singing, dancing, or other forms of live entertainment, with confidence engaging diverse audiences.
• Experience in hosting events or activities, such as family entertainment, children’s clubs, themed parties, or interactive shows.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, encourage participation, and maintain a friendly, welcoming presence.
• Customer service experience in hospitality, leisure, tourism, or related settings, with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
• Ability to work on‑site in Narberth on a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and peak holiday periods.
• Strong teamwork skills and reliability, including willingness to support colleagues, follow direction, and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Comfort with learning basic technical aspects of shows and activities, such as using microphones, sound systems, or simple stage equipment.
• Previous experience in resort, theme park, theatre, or event entertainment is beneficial but not essential.
• Relevant training or qualifications in performing arts, drama, music, or leisure and tourism are an advantage.
