Front Of House Supervisor, Temporary, £15.50ph

Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and leading high-performing teams? We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Front of House Supervisor to join a vibrant student accommodation in Central London.

In this key role, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of our reception and resident services function, ensuring every resident, guest, and stakeholder receives exceptional service. You will lead by example, support the development of the Front of House team, and help create a safe, welcoming, and vibrant community for our residents.

Duties

  • Provide daily supervision, coaching, and support to the Front of House team.
  • Lead by example, delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
  • Monitor performance, provide constructive feedback, and support colleague development.
  • Ensure clear communication and seamless shift handovers.
  • Deliver an outstanding resident and guest experience at every interaction.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for resident concerns and complaints, ensuring effective resolutions.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with residents throughout their journey.
  • Support the delivery of resident events and community initiatives.
  • Drive resident satisfaction, positive feedback, and online reputation scores.
  • Maintain exceptional presentation standards across reception and communal areas.
  • Manage day-to-day administrative tasks and property management systems.
  • Oversee parcel management, key control, visitor management, and contractor sign-in procedures.
  • Ensure resident records are accurate and up to date.
  • Support key operational periods including check-ins, check-outs, and summer turnaround.
  • Promote a strong health and safety culture throughout the building.
  • Conduct regular inspections and property walks.
  • Identify and escalate maintenance, security, welfare, and compliance concerns.
  • Support emergency response procedures, incident reporting, and fire safety protocols.
  • Assist with audits, mystery shop assessments, and compliance inspections.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing supervisory role.
  • Experience with in PBSA (Purpose Built Student Accommodation), hospitality, residential, or hotel operations
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complaints and challenging situations professionally.
  • Highly organised with strong administrative skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Good understanding of health and safety responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management systems.
  • Experience with in PBSA (Purpose Built Student Accommodation), hospitality, residential, or hotel operations.
