Môrwell Talent Solutions is delighted to be partnering with a reputable local business in the Bridgend area, supporting them in their search for an experienced Credit Controller to join their friendly finance team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, working with numbers, and playing a key role in improving cash flow.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will:

Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely payment

Build strong relationships with customers, resolving invoice queries quickly

Assess credit risk and set appropriate credit limits

Agree payment plans where needed, balancing business and customer needs

Produce debtor reports and highlight any areas of concern

Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure accuracy

Work in line with company policies and relevant regulations

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in credit control (or a similar finance role)

Strong numeracy and analytical skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Confident communicator, comfortable speaking with customers and colleagues

Well organised, able to prioritise and manage deadlines

Good IT skills — Excel is essential

(Experience using SAGE is helpful, but not essential)
