We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented Finance Assistant to join an established accounts team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their finance career within a supportive and fast‑paced environment.

• Assisting with month‑end procedures, including:
  • Preparing and posting journals
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with accruals and prepayments
  • Supporting management accounts preparation
• Managing the purchase ledger, including:
  • Processing high volumes of supplier invoices
  • Matching, batching and coding invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Handling supplier queries
  • Preparing payment runs
• Assisting with sales ledger and credit control as required
• Supporting audits and year‑end processes
• Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date financial records

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts role (essential)
• Strong purchase ledger experience
• Good understanding of month‑end processes
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• AAT qualified or studying (desirable but not essential)
