You'll work closely with managers across the organisation, helping them understand their budgets, activity levels, and key cost drivers. Main duties of the job Principle Responsibilities will Include:- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts for designated service/contract areas.
- Provide clear analysis on variances, cost pressures, trends, and opportunities.
- Help develop short- and long-term forecasts, ensuring they reflect operational activity and service plans.
- Assist in preparing budget reports and contribute to the annual budgeting process.
- Work with clinical and operational teams, helping them understand financial information and make informed decisions.
- Support managers in identifying efficiencies, productivity improvements, and areas of overspend.
- Build strong relationships with non-finance teams, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Maintain accurate financial information and ensure data integrity throughout all reporting.
- Prepare dashboards, KPI reports, and financial summaries for internal meetings.
- Help ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and healthcare sector financial regulations.
- Contribute to improving financial processes and reporting tools.
- Support finance colleagues with contracts, audits, and system enhancements.

Skills and Experience- Strong Excel skills and confidence with financial data.
- Ability to explain financial information in a clear and friendly way.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with both finance and non-finance colleagues.
- Experience in the healthcare or public sector environment.
- Knowledge of financial controls, budgeting cycles, and management accounts.
- Familiarity with costing, activity-based reporting, or service line information.
- Studying towards AAT, ACCA , CIMA (or equivalent).
- Collaborative and Approachable
- Curious and willing to learn from colleagues across the organisation.
- Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, flexible, and keen to improve processes and reporting quality.

£25,000 to £27,000 a year, depending on qualifications.
