Kenton Black Finance are supporting a market leading business in Cumbria as they look to strengthen their finance function by recruiting a new Finance Manager.

Sitting as number 2 to their highly experienced Finance Director, the new Finance Manager will take ownership of the day to day running of the department, leading the finance team.

Your New Role as Finance Manager:

With support as needed from the Finance Director, the new Finance Manager will enjoy a diverse and hands on role with responsibilities including:

• Line management of the finance team

• Preparation of the monthly management accounts pack including commentary and analysis, working to deadlines

• Supporting with budgeting and forecasting activities

• Providing year end support

• Provision of ad hoc reports and analysis for Directors to support effective strategic decision making

• Being a key player in the development of existing systems and processes

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), proven in a similar level role with staff management/mentoring experience. With a forward thinking approach to your work, you will be comfortable working to tight deadlines and you will demonstrate strong systems skills, particularly Excel. Additionally, you will have a continual improvement mindset with the ability to review and enhance existing systems and processes within finance.
