Accounts Assistant

Overview

Kids Planet Day Nurseries is a rapidly growing nursery group, meaning we are continually expanding our finance team, we are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team.

• Daily Cashflow Reconciliation and Forecasting
• Reconciliation of all funding received by nursery
• Reconciliation of cash to financial system
• Posting of bank receipts to financial system
• Preparation of prepayment and accruals schedule
• Reporting of accounts to internal departments
• Purchase Ledger input as required
• Reconciliation of Soldo account
• Variance analysis
• Balance Sheet reconciliation
• Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role

• At least 1 years experience in a similar role
• Good level of competence in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Confident communication skills
• Ability to manipulate and understand previously unseen data sets
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and numerical ability
• Self-motivated, calm and professional, and able to work efficiently in a busy office environment
• Ability to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail
• Excellent Numerical ability and problem-solving skills
