Management Accountant

We're looking for a Management Accountant to join a dynamic finance team based near Helmsley, North Yorkshire. This is a hands‑on role at the heart of the business's financial operations—perfect for someone who thrives on learning new things and providing consistent support to the organisation.

As the Management Accountant, you'll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and operational efficiency across the business. Your day‑to‑day will include:

• Preparation of month‑end reporting packs
• Reconciling payments and uploading sales invoices and credit notes
• Investigating and resolving any discrepancies
• Preparing journals, pre‑payments, and accruals
• Supporting the audit process
• Liaising with key stakeholders in the business and working towards shared deadlines

• Previous experience in management accounting or financial accounting
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong numerical skills
• Confident Excel skills and a proactive approach to problem‑solving
• Clear communication and team working skills
• The ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising accuracy
• AAT, CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified or part‑qualified or equivalent experience
