Position: OMB Assistant Tax Manager (Restructuring)
Location: Poole Keynes

In a nutshell As a Tax Advisor, you'll advise clients on corporate reconstructions, transactions, in corporations and shareholder exit planning, including management buyouts and company purchase of own shares. What

You’ll Be Doing Day To Day
  • Advising our clients in areas such as corporate reconstructions, transactions, in corporations and shareholder exit planning, such as management buyouts and company purchase of own shares.
  • Preparing initial advice reports, structure planning reports, HMRC clearance letters and reviewing legal documentation from a tax perspective.
  • Working with managers and Directors in the owner‑managed business advisory team to deliver tax advisory work.
  • Liaising with clients via telephone calls, Teams meetings and face‑to‑face meetings.
  • Researching and preparing proposals and scopes for new work.
  • Staying updated on tax legislation and policies.
About You
  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience of tax advisory in the areas above.
  • In‑depth knowledge of UK tax legislation and HMRC compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
