Payroll Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage end to end processing of monthly and weekly payrolls for 850+ employees.
• Manage and oversee Payroll team.
• Oversee the CIS payroll for subcontractors, ensuring correct verification, deductions, and submissions.
• Ensure full compliance with UK payroll legislation, HMRC requirements, and CIS regulations.
• Manage all statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP, SAP.
• Oversee payroll systems within QTS Group Ltd, liaising with software providers to resolve issues and implement improvements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual work, and enhance accuracy.
• Collaborate with Finance on payroll reconciliations, reporting, cost analysis and audit information.

• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, HMRC rules, and CIS scheme requirements.
• Familiarity with integrated HRIS and finance systems.
• Proficiency with payroll software and strong Excel skills.
