Position: Finance Manager (With Progression to FD!)
Location: Cutthorpe

Rompa are seeking a Finance Manager to be based out of their modern offices in Chesterfield, S41. This role will lead a finance team of 3 direct reports and work closely with the Managing Director and Senior Management Team.

Duties & Responsibilities' will include:

  • Managing the day‑to‑day finance function in its entirety
  • Managing a team of 3 directly
  • Providing strong financial analysis of company results and trends and offering financial advice to the Directors
  • Overseeing any cost exercises in relevant to production and warehouse activities
  • Acting as the primary contact for external parties for finance activities, including liaising with banks, pension providers, insurance companies and auditors
  • Producing year end statutory accounts and working with our auditors to complete year end audit and tax pack
  • Preparing budgets, forecasting and management accounts
  • Managing and processing the monthly payroll and processing year-end tax submissions
  • Continually reviewing our pricing structure
  • Ensuring Trademark registrations are maintained and up to date
  • Acting as Company Secretary, including maintaining information on Companies House
  • Leading and supporting all matters relating to health and safety

You will ideally have the following skills and experiences:

  • Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Minimum of five years' experience in a similar role
  • Manufacturing sector experience would be ideal, but not essential
  • Solid understanding of payroll processing
  • Experience of management accounts production

    Strong leadership skills and a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate financial data across the business
  • A high level of attention to detail with excellent organisation skills
  • A 'can do' positive and enthusiastic attitude

The role is based 5 days a week in the office and operates the following working hours:
Monday to Friday pm with 30 mins for lunch.
