Are you an organised and detail‑driven finance professional who enjoys working at the heart of transactional processes?

Community Housing is seeking a Transactions Administrator to support the smooth and accurate processing of financial transactions, helping to ensure strong controls and efficient day‑to‑day finance operations.

About the role

You’ll play a key role in supporting the Finance team by:

  • Processing high‑volume financial transactions accurately and promptly
  • Inputting and maintaining financial data within the finance system
  • Supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable and ad‑hoc sundry invoicing
  • Maintaining organised financial records and supporting audit requirements
  • Assisting with reconciliations and month‑end transaction reporting
  • Responding to internal and external queries about invoices, payments and receipts
  • Escalating discrepancies or complex issues to senior team members
  • Adhering to financial controls, policies and approval workflows
  • Supporting continuous improvement of transactional processes
  • Providing cover for colleagues across finance teams when required
About you

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in a finance or administrative role, ideally within a transactional environment
  • Exposure to accounts payable and/or accounts receivable processes
  • An understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Experience using finance systems
  • Good Excel skills and confidence with data entry
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads
  • Clear communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
  • A proactive, reliable and collaborative mindset
  • A willingness to learn and contribute to process improvement
