Accounts Senior

Location: Glasgow

Excellent new opportunity- with this most well established, expanding and progressive medium sized Accountancy Firm, for a qualified, qualified by experience or finalist CA/ACCA with minimum 4 years experience gained working within a similar role in another UK Accountancy Firm.

You will be used to using FRS 102, able to demonstrate good client skills with a 'can do' flexible, commercial approach to your work and interaction with clients. Keen to work more as a Business advisor to clients and ambitious to further progress and learn.

Main duties:

You will be mainly responsible for year end preparation
Use of FRS 102 for a varied client portfolio- mainly Ltd companies, from a wide range of sectors.
Management accounts preparation
Basic tax work
Use of various IT accounts systems ie Iris, Sage and cloud packages
Coaching and mentoring of more junior individuals in the team
Key role assisting the management team
Ad hoc business advisory

** Full study support and training to complete ACCA Exams if not already qualified.
