About the Role

We are seeking a Finance Officer to join our clients finance team on a 2-month temporary contract. This role will provide essential support across financial transaction processing, financial controls, grants administration, and reporting activities. The successful candidate will ensure financial records are maintained accurately, transactions are processed in line with internal policies, and finance operations continue to run smoothly during the contract period.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Controls, Transaction Processing & Quality Assurance

• Ensure complete and accurate processing of financial transactions, maintaining compliance with internal policies and funding requirements.
• Support the development and maintenance of effective financial controls, processes, and best-practice procedures to ensure transactions are appropriately authorised and accurately recorded.
• Review financial transaction listings and identify any required corrections or adjustments.
• Prepare and review project fund statements, investigating and resolving any discrepancies or outstanding balances.
