Our client, a leading player in the financial services sector, is seeking a dynamic Vice President (VP), Managers Control Self-Assessment (MCA) Lead Analyst to elevate their operational risk management efforts. This pivotal role will support and oversee the MCA programme, ensuring robust risk and control measures are in place.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and assist in the MCA programme, including attestations and quality oversight.
  • Identify and assess potential risks, ensuring timely remediation of control issues.
  • Develop and maintain ORM tools for accurate risk assessments.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and recommend MCA enhancements.
  • Drive best practises and consistent execution across business units.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, or audit within the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance laws and the ability to manage key risks and controls.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing effective control measures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, engaging effectively with senior management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel functions and data analysis tools like Tableau.
