Salary: c £27,500

Full Time | Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 5:30pm

We are recruiting for a Trainee Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team supporting multiple sites across a successful automotive group. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, numerate and keen to develop their accounting skills in a supportive environment.

The Role

You'll receive full training while assisting with a variety of day-to-day finance and administrative tasks, including:

• Processing daily banking across multiple sites
• Producing daily reports for different departments
• Scanning and maintaining digital financial records
• Processing self-billing invoices
• Maintaining finance settlement accounts and liaising with departmental managers
• Reviewing bank payments and matching vehicle deals with payments
• Assisting with monthly stock checks
• Supporting purchase ledger activities
• Providing assistance with month-end accounts preparation

What We're Looking For

• A keen interest in finance or accounting
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
