Rate: £40 - £45 per hour (up to £50 for exceptional candidate)

About the Role

An LPA in Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced Lead or Senior Development Management Officer to join their team on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a busy planning department and manage a varied caseload.

Key Responsibilities

Handle a range of planning applications, including complex minors and small majors.
Provide professional advice and ensure compliance with planning legislation.
Support the team in delivering high-quality development management services.
Requirements

Proven experience in development management within a local authority setting.
Ability to manage complex cases independently.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Working Arrangements

Hybrid working: 1 day per week in the office, remainder remote.
