Transport Planning Student

Full Time, Fixed Term - 12 months

Bristol is a vibrant city with a successful economy outside London. However its reliance on car use leads to poor air quality and conflicts with the Council's declared Climate and Ecological Emergencies.

Bristol City Council's City Transport Service is looking for an enthusiastic Bachelor level student (NQF/QCF Level
6) to work for a year and support our varied portfolio of transport projects.

• Setting and managing transport policy and strategies
• Working with developers
• Delivering projects to provide new and improved facilities for active travel and public transport, including the city's first Liveable Neighbourhood
